EuroSec Technologies and VIAVI Solutions Partner to Strengthen Cyber Resilience and Compliance Readiness for Organizations in Europe.

Partnership combines EuroSec’s European regulatory and cybersecurity advisory expertise with VIAVI’s network visibility and forensic technology to help organizations meet NIS2, DORA and KRITIS expectations with greater confidence

EuroSec Technologies GmbH, a Germany-headquartered cybersecurity and compliance consulting firm, today announced a strategic partnership with VIAVI Solutions (NASDAQ: VIAVI) to support organizations in Germany and across Europe. The collaboration brings together EuroSec’s governance, risk and compliance advisory services with VIAVI’s Network Performance and Threat Solutions portfolio, including the Observer platform, to help organizations close the gap between regulatory requirements and day-to-day security operations.

German organizations face a demanding and fast-evolving regulatory landscape. The NIS2 Directive, now being applied through German national law, significantly expands the number of entities subject to cybersecurity obligations. It sits alongside the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) for the financial sector, the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) for products with digital elements and long-standing KRITIS requirements for critical infrastructure operators. Across these frameworks, management bodies are increasingly accountable for risk management, incident detection and timely incident reporting.

Meeting these expectations requires more than policies on paper. Organizations must be able to demonstrate that their controls work in practice, that they can detect and investigate incidents, and that they understand the services and dependencies that keep critical operations running.

The EuroSec–VIAVI partnership is designed to address this need. EuroSec helps clients interpret regulatory requirements, assess gaps, define proportionate controls and build sustainable governance programmes aligned with standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001. VIAVI’s technology adds the operational layer: network visibility, packet-level evidence and performance insight that inform monitoring, investigation and operational decisions.

Together, the partners will engage organizations in Germany and the entire EU region across regulated and critical sectors, including energy, transport and logistics, healthcare and life sciences, financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications and the public sector, helping them move from compliance objectives to measurable operational readiness.

How the partnership supports organizations

  • Regulatory clarity and gap assessment: EuroSec advises on scope, applicability and obligations under NIS2, DORA, CRA and KRITIS, and translates them into prioritized, practical control roadmaps.
  •  Network visibility: Packet capture and flow analysis help security and IT teams understand activity across their environment and investigate performance or security events.
  • Incident investigation and reporting: Historical network evidence helps teams reconstruct events and assess their impact, supporting regulatory incident reporting and audit preparation.
  • Operational resilience: Application dependency mapping and performance insight helps teams understand service relationships and identify issues affecting critical operations.
  • Audit and certification readiness: EuroSec supports ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001 implementation and readiness, linking technical evidence to management system requirements.

These capabilities will support NIS2 and DORA readiness as part of a wider governance, risk and control
programme. Compliance depends on each organization’s scope, implementation and processes; technology alone does not establish compliance or certification.

Statements

“Organizations in Germany are under real pressure to show that their cybersecurity programmes work in practice, not just on paper,” said Astha Chobe, Head of Global Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, EuroSec Technologies. “NIS2, DORA and KRITIS all raise the bar for detection, investigation and reporting. By combining our regulatory and governance expertise with VIAVI’s network visibility and forensic capabilities, we can help clients connect their compliance objectives to the operational evidence they need to manage risk with confidence.”

“Regulated organizations in Germany need more than network visibility; they need evidence they can stand behind to manage risk and demonstrate compliance. By partnering with EuroSec, we combine VIAVI’s network visibility platform with EuroSec’s deep European regulatory expertise. Together, we help organizations answer to regulators, auditors and boards with confidence and protect their business,” said Mark Bateman, Global Vice President, Channels & Enterprise, VIAVI Solutions.
